The Documentation University Center (C.A.D.) is the set of library structures, information and documentation services and resources intended for their operation, aimed at integrating and supporting didactics and research.
In particular, it ensures that its user community:
- the use, updating and preservation of the bibliographic and documentary heritage held;
- The organization and development of the collective catalogs of the University;
- the acquisition and management of electronic resources;
- access to and dissemination of bibliographic information;
- the promotion and organization of training and updating activities for staff and users.
The Centre promotes participation in cooperation projects with other universities, research institutes and institutions.
The Polytechnic University of Marche is a member of the National Library Service (SBN) and the National collective Archive of Periodic Publications (ACNP) and the ESSPER Association.
Personal computers are available for users to consult catalogs, databases and electronic periodicals. The Centre for Documentation University has approximately 150,000 volumes and 5,000 periodicals.
