EnThis system allows you to log in directly to the publisher’s website but using your UNIVPM credentials.
You do not have to log in before navigation, but you can log in when you download a protected resource.
The login shall take place from the publisher’s website. The modes, which may have some variations for different publishers, are as follows:
- You choose to authenticate with institutional Login.
- You select your Federation (IDEM GARR)
- You select your University (for example by entering "brands" in the search box)
- The UNIVPM login window is now shown
- after login, you are automatically returned to the publisher’s website.
On publisher sites, this type of authentication can be presented with different terms that are not always synonymous but describe different aspects of the same architecture:
- Institutional Login
- Federated login
- Login via Identity Provider (IdP)
- Shibboleth
- SAML
On the databases page you will find direct links to access the resources for which it is available via Shibboleth.
