What is ORCID
TheORCID ID is a unique and open (non-proprietary) identifier this allows the identification of each researcher/researcher in a unique way so as to allow an effective link between the databases that record their production and their scientific activity.
ORCID ID addresses ambiguity and homonymy issues, manages all affiliations associated with your name, as well as those related to your professional career (including projects and funding). In addition, with integration with Web of Science and Scopus, the researcher can easily populate her profile with all indexed publications in the two databases.
How do I get it or associate it through Iris?
Registration of an ORCID is free of charge. To create an ID or associate an existing one with your profile , click the create button or associate your queued ORCID ID with the information text that appears when you log in to Iris.
A mask will appear through which you can activate or recognize the ORCID by following the proposed steps and granting authorization to both Italian National ORCID Hub (the Italian infrastructure of ORCID) both at Iris University of Marche and at the Loginmiur Teacher site to benefit from the greatest possible number of services.
HOW TO IMPORT PUBLICATIONS FROM ORCID TO IRIS UNIVPM?
